Re-Freshers Week 2026: Brightening up January with student engagement

In January, the Learning & Teaching Strategy Unit hosted our annual stall at Re-Freshers Week in the Glasgow University Union.
In January, the Learning & Teaching Strategy Unit hosted our annual stall at Re-Freshers Week in the Glasgow University Union.
Throughout the day, we spoke with over 80 students about their learning and student experience, including projects like Student Skills, Curriculum for Life (C4L) and AI. We also received 70 new signups to our regular Student Panels. As part of the stall, students voted on the branding for the upcoming Student Skills resource, MyFutures.
Thank you to our C4L College Leads who also supported the stall. It was fantastic to welcome so many new students to the University and signpost them to support services, clubs and societies too.
