Disability Support
Support for Disabled Students in Examinations
Students with disabilities, have the right to reasonable adjustments during examinations to ensure they are not disadvantaged.
If you are already registered with the Disability Service, any agreed exam adjustments are documented in MyCampus. Use the following link for details on how to view your Exam Adjustments.
The Exams Team uses the information on MyCampus to apply your adjustments. Prior to each exam diet, the Exams Team will send details of your adjustments to your School(s), who will email you to confirm arrangements have been put in place.
If you do not currently have adjustments in place but anticipate requiring them, it is advised to complete a Study Support Request (SSR) to register with the Disability Service. Disabled students in need of adjustments are strongly advised not to postpone completing an SSR, and to submit it well in advance of the deadline. Failure to submit your SSR by the deadline may result in adjustments not being in place for the current or upcoming exam diet. Any adjustments will, however, be implemented for subsequent diets.
