Brand Toolkit: new for 2026

Primary colour palette

Our primary colour is University Blue. It is a key identifier within our brand toolkit and should be prevalent across all our communications.

Our diverse secondary palette has two levels of harmonious tones. These have been grouped into ‘Secondary Dark’ and ‘Secondary Light’ to define accompanying text colours.

The colour contrast ratios of these combinations are informed by best practice for digital and print accessibility.

When using Secondary Dark colours as a background, text placed on top should be applied in white

Suggested use of Secondary Light colours are for accents, rather than as a background. But for occasions when Secondary Light is used as a background, text applied on top should be University Blue.
