Biography
Ana Santos joined Adam Smith Business School as a Lecturer in Financial Economics in September 2024. She received her PhD in Economics from Insper in 2020. Her research focuses on ambiguity (Knightian uncertainty) and its implications for macroeconomics and finance; decision theory; and the scholarship of teaching and learning. Prior to joining University of Glasgow, Ana held academic positions at the University of Sussex, University of Cambridge, the Policy Evaluation and Research Unit at Manchester Metropolitan University and Insper. She also has professional experience as an Investment Analyst and as a Trader at financial institutions in Brazil.
