CREATIVE FUTURES: in conversation with Theatre Practitioners
Our guest panel of Theatre professionals and UofG Theatre graduates shared their experiences and insights into building dynamic careers across the Theatre sector.
Monday, 9 March 2026, 4–6pm
We were delighted to be in conversation with Christiana Bissett (Arts Producer at Glasgow Life), Conner Milliken (Artist, Writer, Producer + Academic), Jack Tully (Taking Part and Outreach Producer at Platform) and Nay Dhanak (Associate Producer at A Play, A Pie and A Pint). From this discussion, attendees gained valuable perspectives on where a Theatre degree can lead, explored different creative career pathways, and reflected on the opportunities and challenges shaping today’s theatre industry.
Dr Graham Eatough, Senior Lecturer in Theatre, Film & Television Studies at the University of Glasgow, facilitated the conversation.
"I really enjoyed hearing perspectives from different parts of the theatre sector; it really showed to me the versatility of working in the creative sector and specifically in theatre practice."
