Culture Secretary Fiona Hyslop gave the keynote speech at the second stakeholder event on the BBC Charter convened by the Scottish Government, which was held in Edinburgh on 2 December. Philip Schlesinger responded to Ms Hyslop's speech as a member of a panel including Iseabail MacTaggart of MG Alba, David Strachan of Tern TV, Ian Small of BBC Scotland and Eddie Doyle of RTE. Stuart Cosgrove chaired this well-attended event at which the Scottish Government was in listening mode.
