Higher Education, Work and Society (HEWS)
HEWS investigates the relationships between education, work and social structure in contemporary societies. Its research covers higher education systems, vocational and professional education, adult education, skills formation, labour markets, and graduate transitions. The group brings economic, sociological and policy perspectives to bear on questions of employability, inequality, institutional change and the wider societal role of post-compulsory education.
