On January 19 2026, the PPF RTG underwent a change through the School Education governance project. The Research and Teaching Group is now focused on the areas of intellectual activity in Teacher Education.
Dr. Utkun Aydin took on the role of Co-Leader for Quality Enhancement and Assessment, jointly with Elizabeth Black (ESPC), in October 2025.
Dr. Utkun Aydin was appointed Co-Convener of the Open Lectures in Educational Research Methods, jointly with Jack Lee (HEWS), in October 2025.
The RTG welcomed Fulbright Distinguished Teacher, Fio Lazarte, to the School of Education for a six-month projected focused on mentoring of new teachers and teacher retention.
