Abstract
The talk will be about formalisms of loop Grassmannians and its related vertex algebras.
This includes a picture of collision of projective lines and Joyce's construction of vertex algebras.
I think of the subject as some underpinnings of geometric representation theory (towards Langlands conjectures) that use the formal language of Algebraic Geometry.
