Generalizing Dodgson condensation to Pfaffians and quasideterminants

Abstract

Dodgson condensation is a simple method for calculating the determinant of a matrix which relies on determinant identities. Here we introduce a variant of this method that will enable us to evaluate Pfaffians and quasi determinants in an iterative manor.
