- 1st prize awarded to Anna Kamdar, for the essay, "Dental Caries : The Case for Integrated Services"
- Runner-up prize awarded to Ingrid Lee for the essay, "Childhood leukaemia: A Preventable Cancer"
2020 Yorkhill Portfolio prize
- 1st prize and Yorkhill medal awarded to Mikaela Frixou

2020 Harry Stewart Hutchison Prize
Awarded to Dr Joseph Symonds for the research abstract, "Neuronal antibody prevalence in children with seizures <3 years : a prospective national cohort", accepted for publication by Neurology.
2020 Yorkhill Postgraduate Research Prize
Four prizes were awarded for the 2020 Yorkhill Postgraduate Research Prize:
- Konstantina Zafeiropoulou, for the paper, "Alterations in intestinal microbiota in children with Celiac disease at time of diagnosis and on a gluten-free diet" accepted for publication by Gastroenterology.
- Yulia Anopa, for the paper, "Systematic review of economic evaluations of primary caries prevention in 2 - 5 year old pre-school children" published in ScienceDirect.
- Dr Salma Ali, for the paper "Real World Estimates of Adrenal Insufficiency Related Adverse Effects in Children With Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia" accepted for publication by The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism.
- Dr Frederick Ho, for the paper, "Child maltreatment and cardiovascular disease: quantifying mediation pathways using UK Biobank" published in BMC Medicine.
