Grants
I am a Co-Investigator on the GLIMER project that has been funded by the ERA-NET Cofund Smart Urban Futures scheme supported by the European Commission and funded under Horizon 2020. GLIMER (Governance and the Local Integration of Migrants and Europe’s Refugees) seeks to work towards innovative solutions that transform the current refugee crisis in Europe into an opportunity. The project has a total value of €1.4 million and is led by Professor Nasar Meer at the University of Edinburgh. Other project partners include the University of Calabria, Malmö University and the Mediterranean Institute of Gender Studies in Cyprus. The project is started in September 2017 and will last for 3 years.
I am also the Principal Investigator on a project funded by the Royal Society of Edinburgh about French local government and the Rassemblement National (RN). This project started in January 2020 and will last for two years.
Supervision
I am happy to supervise potential PhD students who want to work on any of my research interests. Please get in touch to discuss a potential PhD proposal.
