Appendix 2: RACI Framework

A RACI framework is given below to help outline responsibilities across each stage of the process, based on the Instructions above.

RACI is a governance tool that clarifies who is:

Responsible (R): The individual(s) who carry out the task or activity. These are the roles performing the operational work.

Accountable (A): The individual who has ultimate ownership of the task and is answerable for its completion and compliance.

Consulted (C): Individuals or roles who must be engaged as part of the process, typically providing input, expertise, or oversight before a decision or action is completed.

Informed (I): Individuals or groups who must be kept updated on progress or outcomes but are not directly involved in execution or decision-making.
