SFC Funding, Assurance and Accountability

‌‌SFC is the Scottish Funding Council. The University returns data to SFC every year. SFC invests in Scotland's universities/colleges for learning and teaching, skills development, research and innovation, staff, buildings and equipment. Until Academic Year 2023/24, each institution set out in its Outcome Agreement what it planned to deliver, in line with Ministerial priorities and SFC’s strategic framework, in return for SFC funding. From 2024/25 the SFC have introduced a new approach to assurance and accountability, the Outcomes Framework and Assurance Model.
