Large text invites students and staff to “help make our teaching labs greener,” offering free coffee, cakes, and a chance to win a £10 voucher. Event details state Monday, April 20, 10:00 am–5:00 pm at the UofG Library. The poster encourages attendees to meet MVLS Sustainability Interns, enjoy refreshments, and complete a survey on sustainability in lab-based courses, with QR codes for more information and a note that completing the survey enters participants into a £10 voucher prize draw.

This Monday (April 20), the MVLS Sustainability Interns will be hosting a pop-up at the UofG Library to discuss your views on sustainability in teaching labs.

We’re running a short survey across students and staff in the Schools of Molecular Biosciences, Infection & Immunity, and Cardiovascular & Metabolic Health (degrees below) to better understand how lab-based teaching can become more sustainable, without compromising learning.

Come along to our booth (10:00–17:00, outside the Library/Fraser Building entrance) to:

  • Share your thoughts in person
  • Learn more about sustainability in labs
  • Enjoy free coffee and cakes ☕
  • Enter a prize draw for a £10 voucher
  • If you’re part of the following schools, you can also take part by scanning the QR code on our posters.
  • Your input will directly shape recommendations to improve sustainability across teaching laboratories at UofG.

Drop by, have a chat, and be part of building a greener future in science.

Kind regards
Sustainability Interns
