The Students’ Representative Council (SRC) Volunteering, Clubs & Societies (VCS) Awards 2026 were held on 20 March 2026, celebrating the outstanding contributions of student volunteers, clubs and societies across the University of Glasgow.
The Students’ Representative Council (SRC) Volunteering, Clubs & Societies (VCS) Awards 2026 were held on 20 March 2026, celebrating the outstanding contributions of student volunteers, clubs and societies across the University of Glasgow.
The awards recognise the vital role that student-led activity plays in building a vibrant, inclusive and engaged campus community, as well as the impact students make through volunteering and civic engagement beyond the University.
This year’s award winners were:
- GU Club or Society of the Year – Walking Society
- GU New Club or Society of the Year – Brunch Society
- GU Academic Club or Society of the Year – Model United Nations (GlasMUN)
- GU Club or Society Event of the Year – Sikh Society: Langar on Campus
- GU Club or Society Collaboration of the Year – Tea Society, Persian Society, Russian Speaking Society: Tea Collab
- GU Club or Society Fundraising Award – Mary’s Meals
- GU Club or Society Community & Inclusion Award – Endometriosis and PCOS Society
- GU Award for Campus Volunteering – Giovanni Guzzi
- GU Award for Community Volunteering – Eleri Drysdale
- GU Principal’s Volunteering Award for Civic Engagement – Ebrahim Rezaei
