Research title: The health of care-experienced children in Scotland

Research summary

My PhD examines how being in formal care and relates to the health of pre-school children after accounting for deprivation and other relevant confounding factors. My work uses 27-30 Month Health Review data collected as part of the universal health visiting pathway in Scotland.

I've also recently worked on post-Auterity mortality trends in England and Scotland, as well as how using the Scottish Index of Multiple Deprivation in health inequalities research could introduce a potential bias.

Previously I have examined links between chronotype and insomnia with affective disorders and suicide.
