Research title: Exploring the relationship between vitamin D and suicidal behaviour
Research summary
My research is focusing on investigating the biological basis of suicidal behaviour, with a particular focus on exploring the relationship between vitamin D levels and suicidal tendencies using 'big' data like the UK Biobank.
Additionally, I am exploring the potential impact of vitamin D deficiency on mental health, and examining its role as a possible biomarker for assessing suicide risk.
The research is funded by the Canmore Trust.
