Research title: The role of RNA Polymerase III in the ageing process
Research summary
I work on investigating the molecular mechanism underlying the putative longevity of mice heterozygous for RNA Polymerase III. In particular I am interested in the relationship between fecundity and longevity, the reported association between cellular stress resistance and longevity and finally the role of Pol III in metabolism and health in mice.
