Lawyering for Children Project
Following the incorporation of the UNCRC into Scots law, we want the next generation of lawyers to start out in their profession alive to the possibility of specialising as a children’s lawyer.
So far, we've partnered with Clan Childlaw, an award-winning, independent children’s charity that actively supports children and young people to take ownership of their rights. They designed and delivered four in-person training workshops to our Diploma students, recognising that a commitment to child-centred practice is the best way forward for children to be supported in exercising their UNCRC rights.
We are excited to expand this project and our partnerships for 2026/27.
