Uti Nilam Sari
Uti Nilam Sari (Medical Visualisation & Human Anatomy MSc, 2015) is the founder and CEO of Medimedi, a pioneering medical visualisation agency based in Indonesia. In this episode, we hear what influence the joint degree between the University of Glasgow and the Glasgow School of Art had on Uti's career. Uti discusses how she used the accreditation to build an award-winning agency with the aim of improving the quality and accessibility of healthcare education in her hometown. Dave Macleod
Dave MacLeod (BSc 2002, MSc 2020) is Scotland’s most highly regarded all-round climber, having established and conquered numerous rock climbs here and abroad. He was the first to climb, and name, the route Rhapsody, on Dumbarton Rock on the River Clyde near Glasgow – at the time, the most difficult ‘trad’ climbing route (a style of climbing where climbers place and remove their own protective gear in natural rock features as they ascend, rather than using pre-fixed bolts) in the world. Dave has diversified into writing and film making and, with his Masters in Human Nutrition, is passionate about communicating research findings to the public.

Mark Johnston
Mark Johnston (BVMS 1983) is Britain's most successful Flat Horse Racing Trainer of all time. Before setting up Johnston Racing in 1987, which today boasts over 5,000 wins, Mark qualified as a vet while studying at the University of Glasgow. Today, he runs one of Britain's most successful racehorse training yards, which he shares with his son Charlie. In the spotlight, we take a trip down memory lane as Mark recounts his early education, career, and favourite memories of Glasgow. We learn the (simple) secret to his success, what makes the Vet alumni community unique, and why he chooses to support his Alma Mater.
Jason Leitch
Jason Leitch is Scotland's National Clinical Direct the Scottish Government. In 2020 he burst onto the public scene when he played a key role in communicating public health messages to the country throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. He has become one of the most familiar faces on Scottish television screens over the past two years, thanks to his ability to convert complicated scientific information into a clear and understandable form for the general public.
